St. Peter's RFC play their home matches at the Harlequins Playing Fields, which is only a mile away from the City Centre, and extremely easy to reach using public transport.

Would all members and visitors please refrain from parking outisde the houses on Minster Road whilst visiting the club.
We must continue to be good neighbours & respect the needs of the residents as well as our own.
Remember to leave the club quietly and by 9pm

From the M4 East

  • Leave M4 J29 onto the A48(M) Cardiff (E & S), Caerdydd (Dn&D). Follow the A48(M).
  • A48(M) becomes A48 - Eastern Avenue. Follow the A48.
  • You are entering Cardiff.
  • Continue on Eastern Avenue (A48).
  • Leave Eastern Avenue (A48) at Llanedeyrn Junction.
  • Take first Left onto Southern Way (A4161).
  • Stay in left hand lane to avoid flyover.
  • Enter the roundabout at Newport Road (A4161) and leave at the 2nd. exit (Turn right) onto Newport Road (A4161).
  • Stay on Newport Road passing on the right Allied Carpets.
  • After Allied Carpets, go through 3 sets of traffic lights.
  • After Royal Oak Pub on left...
  • Leave Newport Road (A4161) and turn right into Minster Road.
  • You have arrived at your destination Minster Road in Cardiff.

From the M4 West

  • Leave M4 at exit M4 J32 in direction Cardiff, Caerdydd and join A4054 / A470.
  • Enter the roundabout A4054 / A470 and leave at the 4th exit onto A4054 / A470.
  • Leave A4054 / A470 and Follow signs for Cardiff / Caerdydd Northern Avenue (A470).
  • Follow Northern Avenue, which becomes Manor Way, then Merthyr Road for approx 2 miles.
  • Turn left then sharp right at the large, red-brick, Weatherspoons Pub.
  • Leave Merthyr Road (A470) and turn left into North Road (A469 / A470). 
  • Leave North Road (A469 / A470) and head straightforward onto A469 / A470 / A48.
  • Enter the roundabout A469 and leave at the 2. exit onto Whitchurch Road (A469).
  • Stay on Whitchurch Road (A469) and head straightforward onto Crwys Road (A469).
  • Leave Crwys Road (A469) and turn left into Albany Road (A469).
  • Enter the roundabout Albany Road (A469) and leave at the 3. exit onto Newport Road (A4161).
  • Leave Newport Road (A4161) and turn left into Minster Road. 
  • You have arrived at your destination Minster Road in Cardiff.

St. Peter's RFC Carpark at the Harlequins has 50 car parking spaces. There are also two disabled car parking bays.

By Train

By Train There are two train stations located in the centre of Cardiff - Queen Street and Cardiff Central Station. In order to help fans travelling to the Harlequins by train, please choose the link below - this will immediately allow visitors to be directed to the "Create your own Timetable" page. The "Arrival Station" station should be input as either Queen Street or Cardiff Central Station. Train times to and from their home station will then be available to download or to be sent by email. Both are served by excellent, regular rail links from the around the country.

By Bus

By Bus The Harlequins Playing Field is served by the following buses 30, 44, 45, 49 and 50. Each of these buses progresses west out of Cardiff along Newport Road. Bus stops from the City Centre are located in Bute Terrace and Churchill Way. You should alight the bus just after the Royal Oak Pub. Then walk back towards the City Centre and take the first turning on your right onto Minster Road. The Harlequins ground is another 50 yards on your right.

Pay as you get on the bus or show your pass. Put your money in the slot by the driver as you get on. Ask the driver if you’re not sure. You must have the right money, as Caardiff Bus drivers do not carry change. You should expect to pay in the regionof £1.50 from the City Centre. (Information correct as of 27-12-09)

By Air Cardiff Wales International Airport is 12 miles west of Cardiff city centre. From the Airport either call a taxi from the arrivals lounge. Some taxis wait outside the lounge and may be picked up there. Alternatively, use the direction finder above in the By Car section.
