Abergavenney Tournament:Sat 3rd May,
Below report from our last tournament of the season.
 
U13s finished runners up in the Abergavenney tournament on Sat 3rd May, winning their group by beating Abergavenny 15-5 tries scored by Jack Huntley, Will Baird and Sam Parker.
 Bridgend  10-0 tries scored by Jack Huntley, Cobi Flowers,
Bargoed  15-5 tries scored by Thomas Scone, Matt Corfield and Adam Howard
 Dowlais  20-5 tries scored by Jack Huntley (2)  Jordan Bishop and Danny Wardle,
St Joesphs (Newport) 20-5  tries scored by Ellery Tucker Cobi Flowers Rob Perry and Will Baird.
Semi finals beat Cowbridge 5-0 try scored by Adam Howard.
Final lost to Bridgend 10-5 try scored by Cobi Flowers.
Some fine  displays of rugby shown all day long by the boys, who should be proud of an excellent end to the season.

St.Peters U-12's capped off a fine tour at Bognor Regis by winning the Guildford Tournament

U-12's were crowned district champions on Sunday winning the tournament at Llandaff. In the pool stages they beat Glamorgan Wanderers 25 - 0, Llanishen 5 - 0, Llandaff North 10 - 0 and drew 0 - 0 with St.Albans. Tries were scored by Harri Hibbs(2), Cllaum Sheedy(2), Muntasser Al-Habsi, Joe peckham, Jack Beere an Owen Davies. In the semi-final Rumney were beaten 5 - 0 with Owen Davies scoring the winner. In the final Rhiwbina were also beaten 5 - 0 with Ryan Farrah scoring the decisive try. St.Peters did not concede a try all day and dominated every game they played. Coaches Matthew Sweeney, Fankie Fideli and Peter Viggers were extremely pleased and proud of all the squad's effort and performance throughout the tournament.

21st Sept Arms Park

          

          The boys and girl (megan manley) ran out at the arms park to a great welcome from the six thousand crowd. The competition was Dowlias. After a very tight seven minutes Ioan Lloyd picked the ball up and ran in to score the only try of the game.As the teams left the pitch they enjoyed the ovasion of the crowd and return the thanks by waving as they left the pitch. 5  :  0 win
